AFKLMP Cargo and SkyCell collaborate on SAF programme

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) has announced that SkyCell has joined its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) programme.
Founded in 2012, SkyCell focuses on catering to pharmaceutical supply chains by providing temperature-controlled hybrid containers and advanced technological solutions to safeguard crucial medications.
The company has now become one of the pioneering Pharma partners in AFKLMP Cargo’s SAF programme.
The signing ceremony was held at AFKLMP Cargo's headquarters at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Mathieu Fleisch, vice-president of Verticals at AFKLMP Cargo, said: “We are excited to welcome SkyCell as a new partner to our SAF programme.
“This partnership reaffirms our joint commitment to sustainability. We firmly believe that through such collective efforts, we can ignite inspiration within the entire industry to foster a thriving market for SAF in the years to come.”
Michael Hegglin, global sustainability manager at SkyCell, added: “SkyCell's commitment to sustainable airfreight is unwavering and our SAF partnership with AFKLMP Cargo is a testament to that commitment. This fuel will enable us to transport life-saving medication with minimal harm to the environment.”
