Bioethanol plant in US hit by blast – no one injured

Three Rivers Energy Plant in Conesville, Ohio, was rocked by an explosion on May 20.
It is understood that workers at the facility were commissioning a grain dryer prior to start up when the incident happened.
The cause of the explosion is being investigated and no one was injured.
The Coshocton Ethanol Plant began operations in 2008.
CE Acquisitions, a partnership of Lakeview Energy and Crestwood Energy of Illinois, acquired the biofuels refinery in 2013. The plant produces ethanol and distillers grains to feed livestock and corn oil.
