AFKLMP strengthens ties with Sinotrans

Sinotrans Global E-commerce Logistics recently joined the Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP) sustainable aviation fuel programme on its Hangzhou-Amsterdam route.
The programme enables shippers and forwarders to power a share of their flights with sustainable aviation fuel, a cleaner substitute for conventional jet fuel, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 85%.
Sinotrans Global E-commerce Logistics is headquartered in the Beijing Airport Economic Zone and will be offering a “green route” between Hangzhou and Amsterdam.
The AFKLMP Cargo programme aims to create an environmentally friendly aviation industry, based on a clean, green and more efficient way of flying.
Sinotrans is similarly committed to social responsibility and, as a leading logistics company, continues to pay attention, devote time and pursue meaningful involvement in the field of environmental protection.
At the start of the year, Sinotrans and AFKLMP Cargo signed a memorandum of understanding to further promote cross-border e-commerce and contribute to promoting Sino-Dutch and Sino-European trade cooperation.
“We welcome Sinotrans to our cargo SAF programme, which makes it easy to understand and visualise the change one can make in reducing CO2 emissions on a trade lane or flight segment. Whether you’re a large, mid-sized or small business, we offer you a means of showing your engagement in sustainability to your customer,” said GertJan Roelands, SVP of sales & distribution at Air France KLM Martinair Cargo.
