Elite Octane joins US Grains Council

The US Grains Council (USGC) has welcomed Elite Octane as its newest member.

The company operates a dry mill ethanol plant located near Atlantic in the US state of Iowa. The plant, which has been in operation since July 2018, produces over 140 million gallons of ethanol annually.

In December 2019, USGC welcomed another new member, Adams Grain Company. The privately-owned grain company, headquartered in Arbuckle, California, dates back to the 1920s when the primary business was trading malt barley from farmers in the Sacramento Valley to exporters in San Francisco.

Adams Grain Company now merchandises and warehouses wheat, corn, safflower and other grains through facilities in Sacramento Valley. The company delivers identity-preserved grains and advises farmers on seed selection, agronomic and marketing decisions.
