In the area of Rosario in Argentina, agricultural company Louis Dreyfus is planning to build a biodiesel plant.
Costing the company $40 million (€28 million), the plant will produce 300,000 tonnes of biodiesel a year from soya oil.
Argentina is one of the largest exporters of soya oil-based biodiesel in the world.

In Argentina, Grupo Bolzan is planning to construct its second biodiesel production plant in the region.
Once operations are underway at the site, the new facility will have an annual output capacity of 16 million gallons a year from soyabean oil.
