A factory in Wales, UK, that will run on food-waste is set to receive £500,000 (€564,000)funding.

US-based Renew Energy announced that it will close its Wisconsin-based Jefferson ethanol plant, after filing for bankruptcy.

US-based NexGen Biofuels has revised its biofuel plans following its inability to raise funds and adverse changes in the market.
