Solenis opens new headquarters in Delaware to support water-intensive industries

Solenis, a global producer of specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries including biorefining, has recently dedicated its new headquarters in Wilmington in the US state of Delaware.

The 90,000 square foot office replaces the company’s previous headquarters on Beaver Valley Road. Located in Wilmington’s redeveloped Avenue North complex, the new building is designed for sustainability and employee wellbeing.

“More than 200 employees have relocated to the building and there’s ample room to facilitate the growth we expect,” said Philip M. Patterson, Jr, senior vice-president and CFO of Solenis.

Executives, global managers and company departments including human resources, marketing, IT and customer service have been relocated to this office. The $3 billion (€2.7 billion) specialty chemical company employs over 5,200 professionals in 120 countries across five continents.

“Solenis is in a growth mode,” added Patterson. “We are working to retain, recruit and add employees to enhance our value proposition and better serve our customers. Our roots are here in Delaware and we are excited about continuing to grow here with our new headquarters.”
