National Biodiesel Board director of communications to speak at Biofuels International 2017

Jessica Robinson, director of communications at the National Biodiesel Board (NBB), has become the latest in a long line of people to declare that she will be taking part in this year’s Biofuels International Conference.

The 10th Biofuels International Conference & Expo will be taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 4-5th October.

The 10th anniversary edition of the leading Biofuels International Conference & Expo, for the first time held in partnership with Bioenergy Insight Conference & Expo, will focus on the latest developments in biofuels policy, international biofuels trading, sustainability, solutions for first generation producers, progress in advanced biofuels and information on feedstock pricing and trends. It's a must attend industry event with many great networking opportunities.

Robinson has worked in biofuel communications for nearly ten years. Robinson leads the communications team in the ongoing effort to promote US biodiesel's economic, environmental and health benefits.

In addition she manages NBB's national outreach programmes designed to increase awareness of biodiesel as the alternative fuel of choice for diesel engines in the US.

Aimed at promoting positive public perception of biodiesel to help create demand and support, Robinson most recently led the launch of NBB's first ever national advertising campaign, which has demonstrated measurable success at reaching the target audience.

NBB harnesses the power of eight national and specialised public relations and communications agencies to provide access to experts whose direct biodiesel experience totals more than 50 years.

Robinson joined NBB in 2009, bringing to the industry more than a decade of professional communications experience. She has worked for trade associations, government agencies and politics and also in radio and television news. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism and hold a Masters in Strategic Leadership from Stevens College.
