GreenGold forecasts $356m in biodiesel revenue
Renewable energy and green tech company GreenGold Ray Energies has announced its revenue forecast for the next five years’ cumulative sales for jatropha-based biodiesel.
Based on today’s jatropha biodiesel prices GreenGold has estimated that its revenue should reach $178 million (€129.5 million) by year five, whereby a cumulative sales of $356 million are expected. This would make the company a leader in biodiesel production.
‘Our forecasts are very conservative and if we continue to increase our harvest and plantation acreages, we could easily surpass those figures,’ said CEO of GreenGold Ray Energies Manolo Tecson. ‘The price for biodiesel fuel will only increase due to the demand by world markets and again this will contribute to the creation of a sustainable business for our shareholders for many years to come.’
