FatHopes Energy and MotionECO sign cross‑border SAF feedstock pact targeting 200,000 MT annually
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the MyAERO Symposium 2026 in Putrajaya, Malaysia, where industry leaders gathered to accelerate progress in low‑carbon aviation.
Under the agreement, MotionECO will serve as FatHopes Energy’s strategic sourcing partner for Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and other qualifying second‑generation feedstocks originating from China. According to the document, the collaboration is designed to build “a secure, traceable and scalable feedstock supply chain,” with both companies working towards long‑term supply chain readiness and future commercial delivery.
MotionECO, led by founder and CEO Shutong Liu, brings more than a decade of experience in feedstock collection, aggregation and cross‑border supply chain development. The document notes that Liu has “played an active role in advancing cross‑border feedstock networks,” supporting renewable fuel initiatives with global energy stakeholders including bp.
FatHopes Energy CEO Vinesh Sinha said the partnership strengthens regional feedstock resilience and supports Malaysia’s ambition to build a robust SAF ecosystem. “Scaling Sustainable Aviation Fuel requires more than refining capability; it requires confidence in long‑term feedstock availability,” he said.
