Waste Management of Texas, US has closed an equity investment in Fulcrum BioEnergy.

VTT Vasiliko, the company which aims to build a private oil storage terminal in Cyprus with an investment of €220 million, said it would take a positive view if the state wished to use its facilities.

In the US, ethanol producer Big River Resources has agreed to purchase an ethanol plant located in Boyceville, Wisconsin.
The 55 million gallon a year plant is currently owned by Western Wisconsin Energy, which put the plant up for sale in mid-2010.
Under the contract, Big River Resources will continue to employ the existing workers.
