Gevo has announced a new fuel sales agreement with Iberia Airlines, which is part of International Airlines Group (IAG).
The agreement provides Iberia Airlines with 6 million gallons per year of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for five years from Gevo’s future commercial operations.

Oil and gas major Shell has agreed to purchase a total of 3.25 billion litres of sugarcane-based cellulosic ethanol under a long-term agreement with Brazil’s Raízen.
