Energy advisor to new Environment Minister to speak at Bioenergy International expo & conference 2010
Dusik resigned because he felt that the prime minister had put him under undue pressure to agree a 25 billion crown (€0.98 billion) plan for the reconstruction of a big coal-fired power plant, Prunerov II, which is the country’s largest producer of greenhouse gases. His replacement Rut Bízková, worked as a spokesperson for CEZ’s coal-fired power plants in the second half of the nineties, is likely to give the plant the go-ahead.
