The Swiss Agency For Development and Cooperation (CUSUDE) has announced that it will invest further in a renewable energy biomass programme in Cuba through 2011.
The project is primarily focused on biogas production from coffee, rice and forest wastes.
The decision will offer further funding on top of the €2.3 million already spent to date.
