Svebio to organise advanced biofuels conference in Sweden

The Swedish Bioenergy Association, Svebio, is organising the 2nd edition of the advanced biofuels conference.

It will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 17-19 May.

The conference is intended for those who are interested in creating a sustainable transport sector. Speakers and delegates will be policy makers and politicians, leading scientists, researchers, engineers, as well as executives and representatives from companies, organisations, governments and authorities.

It is all about greenhouse gas reduction performance, therefore advanced biofuels are defined as sustainable biofuels, regardless of raw material or processing technology.

Clean and efficient conversion of biomass from agriculture, forest and water in biorefineries demonstrates opportunities for large-scale production of biofuels with commercial break-through in many sectors.

Now is the time to pave the way for direct measures, fulfilling ambitious goals for biofuels to an exit for fossil fuels.
