Register for iLUC webinar
With indirect land use change (iLUC) dominating much of the conversation on biofuels for the past six years, the debate shows no signs of slowing down.
Chris Malins, fuels programme lead for the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), will conduct a webinar to explain what iLUC really is.
The ICCT has published a guide that identifies the main six determinants of iLUC emissions - the elasticity of food demand to price, the elasticity of yield to price, crop choices, the utilisation of co-products, the elasticity of area to price, and the carbon stock of converted land.
Malins will review the literature on these issues and discuss how they are manifested in the key modeling exercises that have provided regulatory iLUC factors in the US and Europe.
After a 30 minute presentation you will have the opportunity to ask your burning questions regarding iLUC - Register now!
