NEXT Renewable Fuels enters renewable diesel feedstock supply agreement with BP

Advanced biofuels producer NEXT Renewable Fuels (NEXT) has entered into a long-term feedstock supply agreement with BP Products North America (BP).

Under the agreement, NEXT will purchase approximately 2 million metric tons of renewable feedstocks annually for NEXT’s planned renewable diesel facility in Port Westward, Oregon, US.

Feedstock supplied by BP will include used cooking oil, animal fats and tallows, greases and virgin seed oils.

The supply agreement represents the largest single renewable feedstock sourcing agreement contracted for a renewable fuel facility.

The renewable diesel facility is due for completion in 2021, at which point BP will start to supply feedstock under the supply contract.
