Milligan Bio-Tech to open biodiesel facility
Canadian biodiesel producer Milligan Bio-Tech will open its new crushing and production facility on 23 July in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Canada’s pending Federal Renewable Fuels Bill C-33, requiring a 2% renewable fuel content in diesel by 2012, has ushered in the need for greater production volumes.
Milligan’s products include biodiesel that meets US and European quality standards, which has been achieved through an exclusive Canadian biodiesel processing technology developed in conjunction with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada and the University of Saskatchewan.
Milligan Bio-Tech is the first Canadian Canola biodiesel producer.
