LanzaTech has announced that AMCI Acquisition Corp has scheduled a special meeting of its stockholders to approve a proposed business combination.
The closing of the business combination is subject to approval by AMCI’s and LanzaTech’s stockholders and the satisfaction of other customary closing conditions and is expected to close as soon as practicable.

Headquartered in Skokie, Illonois, LanzaTech transforms waste carbon into materials such as sustainable fuels, fabrics, packaging, and other products.
AMCI invests in and operates industrial businesses focused on natural resources, transportation, infrastructure, metals and energy.
