Horizon Terminals supports Tank Storage Asia 2013
Horizon Terminals has become an official supporting partner for this year's Tank Storage Asia conference in Singapore on 10-11 December. The event, now in its 7th year, promises to be the biggest yet with speakers already confirmed from the like of VTTI Asia, Sinopec Kantons Holdings, KIC Group of Companies, BMT Asia, ICIS and Mott MacDonald.
As well as including in depth analysis on the growth of the bulk liquid storage in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and surrounding countries, this year's event will also have a special focus on the bulk liquid storage market in China. With so much growth ongoing, experts with give their insights into China's oil markets, oil storage outlook, overcoming the challenges of the local market, the impact of strategic storage and changes to the refining sector.
The event will also feature a thorough session covering tank storage emissions. The subject is often mentioned at events, but terminal employees often overlook just how critical an issue it is for the sector. Everyone working at a terminal should be able to spot if emissions are leaking from a tank, be familiar with the relevant international standards and be able to measure, calculate and report these emissions. Tank Storage Asia aims to offer this level of knowledge.
The event's parallel exhibition is also already 30% larger than last year and is still growing. The full conference programme has yet to be finalised so if you feel you have something to add to the Tank Storage Asia programme please contact Margaret Dunn at Margaret@tankstoragemag.com
