FutureFuel confirms plan to resume biodiesel production

The company indicated that after a period of curtailed activity, it is now able to procure key inputs and expects to bring its biodiesel lines back into production in Q4 2025.
The announcement outlines steps already taken to reconfigure supply chains and optimise plant operations to align production with current demand dynamics.
Management said the restart will prioritise cost-effective feedstock sourcing and a phased ramp to manage working-capital exposure while ensuring product quality.
FutureFuel noted the decision follows constructive shifts in commodity pricing and customer enquiries, and that it remains focused on maintaining margin discipline as volumes increase. The update also committed the company to reporting progressive production milestones and to keeping stakeholders informed about timing and output levels.
While the company did not provide precise restart dates in the announcement, it made clear that the intention is to resume commercial biodiesel shipments once commissioning and feedstock contracts are secured. Investors and customers were invited to contact FutureFuel for further commercial details.
