The model Misfueling Mitigation Plan for E15 (15% blended petrol) that the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has met the requirements of EPA's waiver decision.
This means that E15 is well on track to its introduction onto the market.
States, including Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas, will be among the first to see E15 in commercial petrol stations.
The American Coalition for Ethanol (@ACEethanol) said it was disappointed a #bipartisan provision ensuring market access for #E15 on a year-round basis was ultimately excluded from year-end legislation adopted by #Congress.
