Dynamotive acquires bio-oil feedstock supply
The contract secures an initial 10-year term for the feedstock supply with pricing linked to energy prices in the region.
Dynamotive Energy uses fast pyrolysis technology to convert waste cellulosic biomass into bio-oil for power and heat generation. Bio-oil can be further converted into liquid transportation fuels and chemicals.
The state of Arkansas was chosen because of its strong alternative energy policies, but no specific site has been named for the €30 million plant.
Construction of the plant is expected to begin in 2010.
