Dynamic Fuels becomes sustainably certified
US-based Dynamic Fuels has become the latest renewable fuels company to achieve Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB) sustainability certification.
The RSB certification encompasses Dynamic Fuels' Louisiana plant where it uses its technology to turn animal byproducts, such as beef tallow and pork and chicken fat, into renewable diesel.
‘It is not easy to adhere to rigorous sustainability criteria but this shows how committed Dynamic Fuels is to ensuring the protection of the environment and people as part of their business,’ says Peter Ryus, CEO of RSB Services Foundation. ‘As one of the few commercial drop-in renewable fuels plants in the US, Dynamic Fuels has been able to demonstrate it is a thought leader in sustainability.’
Dynamic Fuels is a joint-venture between Tyson Foods and Syntroleum which currently supplies renewable diesel and biojet fuel.
