Chemical spill sparked fire at biodiesel plant
A blaze at a biodiesel manufacturing plant in Arizona, US broke out on 16 November.
It is believed a forklift punctured a 330 gallon tank containing an unidentified chemical which sparked the fire, which set off the plant’s sprinkler system.
Local firefighting crews and a hazardous materials team responded to clean up the leftover damage and to secure the site.
Gilbert Fire division chief Brian Ruffentine revealed the public were not in any danger from the incident.
