Biofuel tank to be built at California service station

Plans have been approved for the addition of a biofuel storage tank to the Pilot Travel Centre site in California, US.

Barstow Planning Commission passed the proposal to construct the 20,000 gallon, aboveground tank at the large service station.

The tank will store 100% biofuel, to be used in a blend with petroleum-based diesel, with state laws allowing a maximum of 20% biofuel in the blend.
