Biodiesel plant delivered to Africa
Florida Biodiesel Inc. has finalised the sale of a B-500 biodiesel plant to the Lorymat Corporation in Ivory Coast, Africa.
Lorymat has selected the B-500 biodiesel processor as its primary transesterification resource.
Florida Biodiesel says that the economical B-500 processor will enable Lorymat to create 9,000 gallons of biodiesel a day.
The B-500 will also act as a hands-on educational tool to show students and government agencies how to make renewable energy.
Guy Kouadio of Lorymat, comments on the facility's use: 'We will process used cooking oil collected locally and from sustainably grown palm oil into biodiesel fuel. The B-500 is very user-friendly, has a low carbon footprint, and will economically produce biodiesel for us.'
