Anhui Wenergy to bring China biomass systems online
China-based Anhui Wenergy is planning two 30MW biomass-powered micro-grid electricity generation systems in Anhui Province, China, to power homes.
A-Power Energy Generation Systems has signed contracts with the subsidiaries of Anhui Wenergy to build two micro-grid electricity generation systems in Anhui Province, China.
The systems will use biomass as the primary fuel. The total value of the two contracts is €57.6 million.
A-Power will be in charge of designing, assembling, installing, testing and delivering both electricity generation systems to Wenergy's DG plants, with both projects expected to be completed and fully operational by August 2010.
