Alleima

History
Alleima a leading manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys. Our origins date back to 1862 and the foundation of the company Sandvikens Jernverk by Göran Fredrik Göransson, a pioneer in using the Bessemer method for steel production on an industrial scale. With more than 900 active alloy recipes, our offering comprises products for several customer segments, mainly seamless tubes for the energy, chemical, oil & gas, renewable.

Materials Solutions
Together with our customers we continue to innovate advanced stainless steels and special alloys in tube and pipe for demanding industries including the shift from fossil fuels to biofuels, biomass and biogas. Our materials are lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures. Our passion for materials technology, metallurgy, and industrial processes helps customers become more efficient, more profitable, more sustainable, and safer.

Our offering includes solutions for refinery corrosion challenges when converting from fossil to renewable feedstock and the transition to sustainable energy. Renewable feedstock is seen by many as the way forward to achieve a sustainable source of aviation fuel and diesel. Alleima is at the forefront of shaping a greener future for aviation fuels and beyond.

Our fully integrated manufacturing process ensures full traceability from R&D to end-product, ensures industry-leading technology, quality, sustainability, and circularity.

Sustainability
Sustainability is present in all aspects of our operations and is an integral part of our commercial strategy. Our product offering enables the transition to renewable energy sources, electrification of industries, innovation and much more. We also actively seek to reduce and eliminate harm to people and the environment via our operations. Today, the amount of recycled material in Alleima products is about 83 percent.
