Niels van Velde

Niels van Velde is the Communications & Media Manager at the European Biodiesel Board (EBB), representing FAME, HVO and HEFA producers in the EU. At EBB, he is responsible for strategic communication, media relations, and positioning the organisation within the European energy debate. With about a decade of experience, he brings a hands-on, strategic approach to the table. Before joining EBB, he worked at the Brussels-based press agency Evoke as a Senior PR Consultant and another association. Niels began his career at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, an internationally renowned PR agency. Originally from the Netherlands, Niels holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and has been living in Belgium since 2018.
