Zoltán Szabó

Zoltán Szabó, PhD in environmental economics, is the originator of the Climate Ethanol Alliance (CEA) — a project he built from the ground up and continues to lead as its driving force. For more than a decade he has worked as a sustainability consultant in the bioeconomy, with experience across public administration, research, NGOs, and business, focusing on reconciling climate, energy, agricultural, transport, and environmental policies worldwide. He serves as Secretary General of CEA, a global partnership representing ethanol interests in Europe, the US, Canada, Brazil, and Asia, dedicated to advancing renewable ethanol through evidence- and science-based policymaking to decarbonize transport.
