Olivier Bobin graduated with a MSc (1996) in Chemistry and a PhD (2001) in Physics from the University of Bordeaux, France. In 2005, he founded, with Richard Cheret, CIRAM laboratory. He is currently CEO and scientific director of CIRAM.
CIRAM is a French private laboratory focused on scientific analysis and dating of materials, and especially on radiocarbon dating. For many years, CIRAM distorted the Radiocarbon dating aim to the analysis, test and quantification of the biobased materials.
The radiocarbon technique is the only option to obtain an objective, reliable and suitable quantification of the percentage of biogenic carbon, the fossil carbon and the biomass content of every solid, liquid or gas fuels.
