Quadrise announces appointment of new CEO

Biofuels developer Quadrise (QED) has announced the appointment of Peter Borup as its chief executive officer.
Effective from 1^st October 2025, Borup’s appointment will drive commercialisation in the next stage of QED’s growth.
Borup is an accomplished CEO with over 30 years’ experience in the shipping industry.
He began his career at AP Moller-Maersk in Copenhagen, before being appointed as general manager for Maersk Broker in Korea and China (1992-2001).
During his career, he has worked in key global shipping hubs, including Copenhagen, Seoul, Beijing, Singapore and Dubai, leading strategy, investment and shipping operations.
Andy Morrison, Chairman, Quadrise, said: “His extensive expertise and relationships in the shipping industry will undoubtedly help us at this pivotal time for the company as we move our technology towards commercialisation. The knowledge and work he has in the decarbonisation space will also further enable us to progress our technology offering and strategy. We look forward to welcoming him to the Board in October and working with him to drive Quadrise forward.”
