Platinum Crush joins NOPA to drive future of US soy and biofuels

Platinum Crush will begin reporting soy crush in the August NOPA Crush Report.
Platinum Crush, LLC owns and operates a soybean processing facility in Alta, Iowa.
The 440-acre plant began operations in May 2024 and has the capacity to process 40 million bushels of soybeans annually.
As NOPA’s newest member, Platinum Crush brings not only significant new capacity but also a strong voice for value-added agriculture in Northwest Iowa and beyond.
“NOPA and our member companies continue to serve as critical thought leaders and play a pivotal role in advocating for the growth, profitability and long-term viability of oilseed crush and American agriculture, and we welcome Platinum Crush as the newest voice in that chorus,” said Devin Mogler, NOPA President and CEO. “With this addition, NOPA now represents 98% of US soy crush, strengthening our collective influence and bringing us one step closer to our goal of representing 100% of US crush.”
“Platinum Crush is extremely proud to join the National Oilseed Processors Association and have a voice in the future of our industry,” said Erik Lightner, CEO of Platinum Crush LLC.
“We are excited to work together with Devin Mogler and all the other member companies to support US agriculture, our suppliers, and our customers while shaping the future of our industry.”
