Phoenix Petroleum builds Filipino storage terminal

A new 5 million-litre storage facility is being built in the Philippines.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines is constructing the P123 million (€2.045 million) terminal in Talisayan, Zamboanga City to store petroleum products including biodiesel, petrol and jet fuel to serve the demands in the south.

The project was granted tax and fiscal incentives by the Board of Investments.

Phoenix will source its products from foreign oil companies and independent suppliers like Singapore Petroleum Corporation, Oronite Singapore, Petronas Malaysia and Formosa Petroleum Taiwan.
