Omnibuses using pure biodiesel (B100) operate trouble-free

Omnibuses from IOV Ilmenau in Germany were successfully operated and tested on pure biodiesel fatty acid methyl ester (FAME).
A project initiated by AGQM Biodiesel, examined the B100 bus fleet of IOV Ilmenau with special focus on the engine oil of the buses, which was intensively analysed.
“The results of our project are an important step towards eco-friendly mobility and encourage the further integration of this technology into public transport sector.
“Further, this technology could provide a significant contribution to reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the near future,” Said Richard Wicht general manager of the AGQM Biodiesel.
