Malaysia to boost SAF production from palm oil waste

The Malaysia government plans to boost sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production from the use of palm oil waste.
The country’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim revealed the proposals as he outlined his plans for next year’s budget.
The state-owned oil and gas company Petronas will work alongside palm oil producers to develop palm oil waste-based SAF.
