Lagosur and Alianza Pacifco to bring biodiesel to Latin America

Lagosur, a US-based renewable fuels company, has started business arrangements and initial sales in collaboration with Alianza Pacifco to bring clean green fuels to Latin America.

Lagosur has concluded business preparations to deliver renewable biofuel to the mining and transportation industries in Chile, Peru, and Mexico.

The mining and transportation industries each represent heavy consumers of imported fossil fuels resulting in a substantial carbon footprint and CO₂ emissions.

Both industries are the most recent examples of Lagosur's Latin America customers making the move to become cleaner and greener global citizens.

‘Although these initial transactions represent the importation of biodiesel, the next step is to bring local biodiesel generation capabilities to Chile, Peru, Mexico, and other areas within Latin America,’ says Jorge Abukhalil, Lagosur's executive VP of business development for Latin America.
