Golden State Biofuel eyes Indio for primary facility location
Once built the facility will produce 1 million gallons of biofuels from a variety of different feedstocks every year and will serve California, the High Desert, Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego. A blending terminal and a used cooking oil feedstock refinery are also thought feature on the site.
At present the Indio refinery is currently in the permitting stage and Golden State Biofuel believe that it will be up and running by the middle of 2010.
The Biodiesel Club model will be used by the biofuels firm to provide its members with B99.9 biodiesel, as well as supplying a number of different biodiesel blends to distributors. Biodiesel Club membership should be reasonably priced, starting at around $3.25 (€2.40) per gallon.
