Can you outline CPM’s role in biofuel production?
CPM’s mission is to feed, fuel and build a better world. Biofuels are central to that mission and it is a market that CPM touches in a variety of ways. In biomass applications, CPM’s equipment is used for particle size reduction and densification. These same technologies are used in generating biogas as well. For liquid biofuels, CPM Crown’s technology for biodiesel production has long been a market leader with innovations along the way as that market has matured and continues to grow. Crown is also a market leader in pretreatment technology for SAF and renewable diesel production. Our liquids pilot plant was inaugurated in 2022 and it is a great place to prove out ideas, try new concepts, and innovate with forward-thinking technologies and new feedstocks from seed to pretreated product.
Can you explain some of CPM Crown’s technology in improving feedstock efficiencies?
