Fire put out at Darling International plant

The Clinton Fire Department responded to a fire at 8:05 pm on Thursday 15th May at Darling International's facility at 1423 Beaver Channel Parkway.

Firefighters found a vessel used for bagging Darling's product on fire within the plant.

Crews remained on scene for approximately 90 minutes to extinguish the fire and hot spots.

No injuries have been reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
