Extreme Biodiesel awarded virgin oil collection contract
Extreme Biodiesel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BookMerge Technology, will acquire unwanted virgin oils from a New York, US-based warehousing company.
Extreme will purchase the oil leftover from the warehouse company's facilities in the south of California. To date Extreme has collected 4,000 gallons at a price much lower than the virgin oil market.
This oil, combined with waste oil collected from Extreme's existing contracts, is then used in the production of its IRS-certified biodiesel.
The agreement between the two companies will start in southern California, but CEO Richard Carter hopes to expand this to include all of the facilities located across the US.
'We are also working for a direct relationship with the food grade oil companies to handle all of their expired and waste oil needs, outside the warehouse facilities,' Carter says.
