Brazil cuts US ethanol exports
The US has no intention to lower the barriers for the entrance of the Brazilian product in that country, the head of Brazil's Development, Industry and Trade Ministry, Miguel Jorge, says.
‘We do not have a market in other countries which could absorb Brazil's excess ethanol,’ Jorge adds.
One option for Brazil is to support the development of flex-fuel vehicles and not electric ones, as those using ethanol and biodiesel as fuel may efficiently consume the ethanol production.
