BioPetrol to acquire Dutch Biodiesel

Switzerland-headquartered biodiesel producer BioPetrol Industries is to acquire the entire issued share capital of Dutch Biodiesel BV, a manufacturer of biodiesel, after signing an agreement.

The deal is subject to shareholder approval and customary closing conditions being satisfied by BioPetrol and Dutch Biodiesel shareholders. Following the satisfaction of these conditions, the deal is expected to close before the end of this year.

As part of the transaction BioPetrol will transfer current operations from Dutch Biodiesel to existing BioPetrol sites in Rotterdam.
