Arkas Bunker successfully supplies biofuel to Statu Denizcilik’s vessel

The biofuel supply delivered to Statu Denizcilik’s vessel Erguvan S stands out as a success, both in terms of operational efficiency and its transformative impact on the sector.
Being the first company in Türkiye to receive the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC EU) for marine fuels, Arkas Bunker continues to support environmentally friendly solutions in the maritime sector.
Pioneering biofuel supply in Türkiye’s maritime sector, Arkas Bunker, following its biofuel supplies to some of the world’s prominent shipowners such as Arkas Line and Yang Ming, has successfully delivered 200 tons of Bio24F to Erguvan S, a vessel in the Statu Denizcilik fleet.
After the successful completion of the operation, Captain Naci Mutlu of Urla 1, Arkas Bunker's marine tanker, presented a special plaque to the captain of the vessel.
Developed by Arkas Bunker, Bio24F is not only an environmentally friendly alternative fuel, but also offers significant advantages to vessel operators in terms of operational safety and engine compatibility.
Seckin Gul, general manager of Arkas Bunker, said: “Our biofuel journey began with our own vessels and now, we are proud to share it with other shipowners.
“This supply operation carried out for Statu Denizcilik is of great importance both in terms of expanding our sustainability vision and contributing to our country’s green transformation in the maritime industry.”
