Renewable Energy Group announces new CEO
Major US biofuel producer Renewable Energy Group (REG) has announced Cynthia CJ Warner as the company’s new president and chief executive officer.
Warner's appointment was made by the company’s Board of Directors. She will take on the president and CEO positions effective 14 January 2019.
Her predecessor, Randy Howard, who has served as president and CEO since July 2017, will remain on the board and assist in the transition.
The search for REG’s new CEO was led by Caldwell Partners of John Strackhouse, Bethany George and Rachel Sharp.
Warner has 35 years experience in the energy industry, having worked in senior roles at Sapphire Energy, BP, and most recently Andeavor (formerly Tesoro Corporation). She is a member of the Board of Directors for IDEX Corporation, and serves as a member of the US National Petroleum Council.
