Moji Karimi

As a practical futurist, Moji has co-founded four companies in the climate, energy, and natural resources industry. Currently he serves as the CEO of Cemvita, a biomanufacturing platform for conversion of carbon waste to sustainable oils that are used to produced SAF. His vision has positioned Cemvita to make the sustainable option the most economical choice, achieving cost parity with existing technologies. Recognized as an industry connector, he serves as an advisor and board member across the cleantech ecosystem. Holds an M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering and previously led the commercialization of subsurface DNA sequencing at Biota Technology, after serving in multiple technology development roles at Weatherford.
