Michael Harrington is President of Europe’s oldest Airline Association ‘Airlines International Representation in Europe’ known as AIRE. He was formerly the creator and CEO of the Spanish airline ALBASTAR since 2010. This airline became one of Europe’s leading authorities on the transport of Passengers of Reduced Mobility (PRMs). Also formerly CEO of LTE International Airways and Senior Vice President Network & Fleet of Alitalia in the 1990’s. Michael is currently on the EC Commission DGClima’s Expert Committee for Climate Change and has participated in the introduction of REFUEL and STIP.
