Jo Dardenne

Jo Dardenne is a Policy Officer in the Aviation Policy Unit of the European Commission’s DG MOVE, focusing on policies addressing aviation sustainability (ReFuelEU Aviation). Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked for Siemens as a Senior Director for Sustainability, focusing on energy and climate policies for the company’s Smart Infrastructure business. Before that, she led Transport & Environment (T&E) sustainable aviation campaigns, including aviation taxation, the EU emissions trading system, and sustainable fuels. Jo has a diverse educational background, having studied public and political management, communication, and law at ISMaPP school in Paris. Her work experience includes various public affairs campaigns for companies, trade associations, and NGOs in transport, trade, tourism, and energy sectors.
