George has over 35 years’ experience in energy, with the bulk of his career at Sasol focused on Mega-GTL projects. While CEO of Sasol Chevron, he led the successful development. commissioning, start-up and operations of ORYX GTL, a 35,000 bpd GTL JV venture with Qatar Petroleum. He also led the feasibility study for a 50k bpd, $8bn venture in Alberta, Canada, as well as led business development teams in the evaluation and pursuance of potential GTL/CTL ventures (each in excess of $5 billion each) in Australia, East Africa, Latin America, India, Middle East and The Mediterranean. He’s participated in many other projects throughout his career and brings this expertise to Infinium in his day-to-day role developing international eFuels ventures.
